ILTN1001 Illustration Origin and Function - Week 7 (10/11/2011)

This lesson we covered illustration history during the Renaissance.

We looked at the techniques, how they came about and how they are still used today.

After all that we were split up into teams and given the task of creating a presentation on a visual artist and how their art impacted their society.

Initially we chose Galileo but unfortunately he wasn't an artist so we changed our idea to Hannah Hoch an artist during World War 1 who specialised in Dadaism.

Overall I'm not to happy with how the group worked, we had trouble pitching in our own ideas but we tried to pull it together at the end by each taking turns talking But most people in the class agree that it would have been better if we were allowed to work in groups of 2 instead of 4 to 5.

Thats all for now, thanks for reading :).
